June Photos

I almost forgot to do June's photos! It's crazy to believe its July already but this past month has kept us pretty busy.

First me and the kids went on our annual family vacation up near Hannibal, Missouri.

The girls had a blast, lots of fun at the pool and swim park and playing with all their cousins.

My younger sister made a pretty cool watermelon shark!

(Don't worry, this picture was edited. He wasn't really sitting on the edge of the pool alone!)

You really don't want to know how many pictures I have on my phone of Sebastian sleeping. It's a problem...

 

We had a great Father's Day as well, with a custom made card (Inside I asked the girls what they liked about Daddy and wrote it down), Ice cream and lots of watermelon!

  

Speaking of watermelon, During the Father's Day photo, Sebastian stole Charlie's and chowed down so we decided to start him on solids a little bit sooner than intended. He didn't seem to like avacados as first but I let him play with the bowl and he ended up loving it. He now has some avacado every night, and has tried a few more food since!

Charlie had a race the last weekend of June and Sebastian tried to help his daddy get ready.

We also moved this month!! We now live about 40 minutes outside of St. Louis, close to Six Flags. We are still working on getting everything situated but are loving the new house.

Kayleigh especially has been loving it. For some reason once we moved she became super independant and likes to make her own food. Here she is pictures cutting up strawberries for breakfast.

Sebastian is also working on crawling and will army crawl his way all over the new house.

This picture has become a bit of a tradition. I took one with Kay and Lex back when Lexi was only 5 months old, and then have taken one every year in June since. So this is our third year taking one and I hope to continue it for a while!

February Photos

Let's start out this month's photo dump with some ADORABLE Sebastian spam. I had some cute ideas for a group Valentine's Day photo but the girls didn't really want to cooperate, so I just did solo one with my most willing model.

Kayleigh doesn't normally nap anymore but one day she grabbed her owl pillow (which is like a lovey for her), laid down on the floor and passed out. I always forget how sweet her sleeping face is!

A rare shot with me! I thought we both looked pretty cute at church one Sunday and wanted to take a picture.

I somehow managed to luck out this month and won about 4 contests on Instagram. One prize was this diaper bag from Alma Rose, which is really nice! I can't decide if I like it for my Lily Jade better, but my Lily Jade insert makes it super easy to jump back and forth between the two.

We've been having some crazy warm weather for February so we have spent a lot of time outside. The girls both love to climb on the wood pile we have, but Lexi is almost constantly climbing all over it. Also, my kids and dirt seem to go hand in hand haha!

Speaking of climbing, we took them to a playground in Forest Park and Charlie taught Lexi how to climb the rock wall there. She quickly figured it out and after a couple of tries was scaling it better than kids over twice her age. Unfortunately that means she now has the confidence to climb EVERYTHING. As if my hair wasn't gray enough already haha!

I was able to do a successful transfer when Bas fell asleep in the carrier. It lasted a whole 15 minutes, though, until he realized he wasn't snuggled up to me anymore. And Lexi the way Lexi was sitting on the couch with her legs crossed was so cute, I had to get a picture of it!!

January Photos

It's almost March and I'm just now getting around to posting January's pictures. We switched internet at the end of the month and didn't have any WiFi for two weeks, so my laptop didn't have any way of uploading pictures, then I just forgot but better late than never! (wow, I feel like I say that a lot here haha)

I'll give you a warning, lots of Sebastian spam! How can you not want to take so many pictures of a squishy little baby?

He got his first real bath and, as you can tell, he didn't really care for it too much.

Lexi's 2nd birthday was January 20th! We don't really do anything to big, so we just got some cupcakes and sang her "Happy Birthday", but I blew up some balloons and attempted to do a photo shoot. This picture may have turned out good, but it was the only good picture out on 30+ that came out because she did not want to take pictures.

Sebastian also got a 'job' - well, if you can call just sitting there a looking cute while mom takes pictures a job. He got selected to be a brand rep for little Big Bee, which makes the softest blankets. Shiri, the owner, is super sweet and we love 'working' for her.

Bathtime - tell them not to get any water outside of the tub and suddenly your bathroom because a tsunami.

Kayleigh completely dressed herself for preschool one day. Nothing matched (My Little Pony dress, Frozen leggings and Panda Socks), but she was so happy about it that I let her wear it.

 

Sebastian started smiling, too. They were few and far between at first but now he is almost always smiling at us. I also broke out the woven wrap and I forgot how much I loved it. I'm also rusty with it and feel like I'm having to relearn since Lexi got too wiggly to wrap around a year old.

I am working on redoing the girls' room so I made them blankets. I loved the material! And Sebastian's fresh out of the bath hair always cracks me up because its so floofy.
