Apple Picking at Eckerts

Going apple picking at Eckert's has been something we have been doing every year since I was pregnant with Kayleigh (the first time we went, I wasn't even 8 weeks pregnant with her yet!) I love having pictures to look back on and see how everyone changed. This year the day started out nice, but with no clouds in sight it got hot pretty quick!

 

 Hot weather didn't stop Kayleigh from loading her bag up with as many apples as she could (half of which had to be tossed because they were bad, though haha)

 Lexi, on the other hand, just wanted to run and eat as many apples as possible

The girls cooperated for a whole minute to allow for pictures with mom & dad before we headed back to see the goats

Lexi pretty much said 'Hi!' to the goats then ran off (seeing a theme? Girl loves to run!) but Kayleigh had a lot of fun petting and feeding the goats.

She has always loved the goats ever since her very first trip here at 4 months old

Leaving was much harder than arriving because neither girl wanted to leave but I was able to get our traditional family picture before we left! It was a fun (albeit hot!) day!
