5 Months

It's hard to believe Kay is five months old today!

She rolls over like a champ now. She is also living up to her nickname - set her on the floor and just watch her wiggle across the room. This past week she has learned how to control herself and wiggle in the direction she wants to go.

We have been feeding her rice cereal during dinner for almost a month and she loves it. Saturday night we decided to try some pureed carrots and I don't think she wanted to stop eating them! Of course, she made a huge mess in the process. Wiggles has also started sucking her fingers - the middle and ring fingers. She'll take a pacifier still but prefers her fingers.

She can tripod on the floor for a while until something more interesting catches her eye and then she falls over and rolls to around. However, she is stubborn on the sitting as well - I will try to put her in the sitting position and she will fight it because she much rather stand and jump! Oh how she loves to jump! I went out to eat with her yesterday and that is all she did the entire time. It makes eating very difficult :)

I can't wait to see what this next month has in store!

  1. Our babies are so close in age! I can't believe your little one is so mobile. We are still waiting for my son to roll over!

  2. He'll get there! I thought she would never roll over, then one day it seemed to click for her and now I can't keep her still. (We also blame it on the fact that she is so nosy and has to know what is going on all the time!)
